Embody a magnetic stage presence — beyond footwork.

Unique Zambra workshop with Puela Lunaris recorded live during the Festival de Jerez

Award-Winning Researcher, Master Dance Educator & Keeper of Lola Flores' Zambra Legacy

What You'll Gain

This workshop offers a radically different approach to flamenco: one rooted in body intelligence, expressive presence, and unapologetic feminine sensuality.

Award-Winning Researcher & Master Dance Educator, Puela Lunaris, brings together the historically rooted lineage of Zambra as danced by the legendary Lola Flores with the renowned Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) framework, so you can:

  • Command a magnetic stage presence using historically rooted body intelligence.

  • Inhabit your body with pleasure through unapologetic feminine sensuality.

  • Ground your dance in ancestral power by connecting to the roots of the Zambra.

  • Access authentic Zambra dance to move beyond the "fusion confusion" found elsewhere.

  • Embody the magic of your whole body dancing (not just your feet) through the empowering Lunaris Flamenco Technique™ to achieve majestic posture & coordination, elegant torso, bewitching arms, sensual hips, grounded marcajes, and fiery turns.

  • Discover the untamed charisma and interpretative genius of the Zambra legend Lola Flores, learning to generate those qualities in your dance through Puela Lunaris' method.

  • Decode the essence of every movement through Laban Movement Analysis—so you can embody the power of flamenco, not just copy steps and footwork.

  • Become part of flamenco history: Understand the cultural relevance of Zambra—a hit in the first half of the 20th century, now almost extinct—and actively contribute to its preservation and revitalization.

Is This Workshop For You?

Perfect if you wish to:

  • Connect with an authentic lineage of Zambra. You're tired of workshops that water down Zambra into made up "flamenco-belly dance fusions." You want the REAL thing. The historical lineage. The cultural depth.

  • Embody flamenco body technique -técnica corporal- with elegance.

  • Move beyond standard footwork to explore the almost forgotten feminine style of flamenco dancing.

  • Command the stage with unapologetic confidence & magnetic sensuality at any age.

  • Enjoy a grounded connection to the earth without the need for shoes.

This is NOT for you if you are looking for:

❌ Intricate footwork
❌ Pre-set choreography (though choreographic creation is encouraged)

Is this authentic flamenco or bellydance-flamenco fusion?

This is not fusion or a modern hybrid, which can be incredibly beautiful, but this is not it.

This is a historically rooted lineage, 100% authentic flamenco based on Puela Lunaris’ award-winning research on Lola Flores' Zambra dance style.

In this 5-day workshop, you'll learn about Zambra's historical & cultural context. You'll also learn proper flamenco body technique (técnica corporal) including floreos, braceos, contoneos, vueltas, marcajes, and even taconeos.

Yes. This is authentic flamenco you can claim with confidence, whether you come from bellydance, ballet, flamenco, contemporary, or another dance background.

Do I need expensive flamenco shoes and special skirt?

No expensive shoes required! In fact, it is recommended to dance Zambra barefoot, which creates a grounded connection to the earth. But shoes or not shoes is a choice each dancer makes.

For the attire, any wide, comfortable skirt you already own will work perfectly fine.
