For the strength to develop, we need something to lift, a clay jug, a basket with fruit or stones, or even a gallon of water.

Meet Your Teacher

Internationally acclaimed performer and founder of Movement Arts for Well-Being™, Puela Lunaris — who holds degrees from SUNY and NYU, along with certifications in Yoga, QiGong, and Mind-Body Wellness — is devoted to inspiring and empowering women to live healthier, happier, more fulfilling lives through the movement arts.

Her classes are not just workouts, they are sanctuaries of renewal, awakening our vitality, dissolving hidden tension, and leaving us glowing, lighter, and grounded in joy.

Thanks to years of teaching and performing, Puela’s body was strong and beautiful, until she founded her online academy. Long hours at the computer to produce her courses led her to experience bloating, weight gain, fatigue, and back problems.

Determined to restore her vitality, she returned to what she always knew: movement as medicine and community as nourishment.

She realized that consistent, loving, and joyful movement could restore not only her strength, but her sense of feminine aliveness and sensuality.

Is this program suitable for beginners or midlife/menopausal women?


Absolutely. 💗

These classes are designed to meet you exactly where you are — whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to dance after years, or moving through the empowering transitions of midlife.

Each session is lovingly crafted to honor your body’s rhythm and leave you feeling renewed and radiant.

Do I need any special equipment, props, or dance attire?
  • Equipment: No. You don't need any equipment.  All classes can be done in a clear space in your living room or even your back yard.

  • Attire: No special dance attire required. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. 

  • Footwear: Most practices are best done barefoot, if the weather allows. But you're welcome to wear ballet slippers, Greek sandals, or whatever makes you feel comfortable.

  • Props: A functional weight is highly recommended for strength work in the Fun Fuctional Fitness class. I use a ceramic water jug, but you can use any functional weight you have at home—a simple gallon jug, a sturdy basket with books in it, or anything that strikes your fancy. You'll still get great benefits without weights. No prop is needed to start!

Yes! You can cancel anytime. Monthly cards renew every 30 days for your convenience, and you can easily cancel with just one click.

If you miss a class, no problem! — you’ll have a generous unlimited replay access for as long as your enrollment is active.

Due to technical constraints, single drop-in classes don’t include replays.
